DESCRIPTION
The April 1916 issue of The Hindusthanee Student (Vol. 2, No. 7), published from the Nalanda Club in Berkeley, California. The issue begins with a feature on art historian Ananda Coomaraswamy by Basanta Kumar Roy, titled "India's Art-Critic in America," with a photograph of Coomaraswamy and singer Ratan Devi. Other editorials include part one of "A Review of India's Year Book" by Hemendra K. Rakshit, part two of "Chemistry and Allied Industries of the U.S.A." by V.S. Kokatnur, and a review of Dhan Gopal Mukerjee's writings.
