DESCRIPTION
This interview was conducted as part of SAADA's ACFP 20/21. The interviewee discussed her early life in Kutch Mundra, Gujarat, India, her marriage and migration to Uganda to be with her new husband, her early years in Uganda, her experience of finding out about and living through Idi Amin's expulsion of Asians from Uganda, her efforts to find a new home, her departure from Uganda and her route to Greenville, South Carolina where she was resettled as a refugee/parolee.
