Dalit Film Festival Flyer

DESCRIPTION
Ambedkarite Organization in the USA and Columbia University hosted a pioneering 2-day Dalit Film and Cultural festival featuring films that give direct voice to the Dalit experience and reflect on society from a Dalit perspective. The festival was organized from 23-24 February 2019. It was first time in the history a film festival was organized to provide a platform to content from Dalit issues victimized by caste discrimination and often ignored by mainstream films. Various films by Ambedkarite Dalit artists were screened.
