Oral History Interview with Hasmukh Doshi



DESCRIPTION
Born in Gondal, Gujarat, and raised in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, Hasmukh Doshi came to the United States in 1966, when he was 23 years old. Doshi studied at the University of Houston, obtaining degrees in Mechanical Technology and Civil Engineering. Doshi discusses his family and his experiences in America. Doshi started his own company, Doshi Engineering & Surveying Company, in 1992, and in this oral history he describes some of the projects he as worked on, including his involvement in the development of the Jain Vishwa Bharati Preksha Meditation Center.
