DESCRIPTION
Letter from Dina Nath to Abnashi Ram, apologizing for not writing earlier and expressing dismay at US support for Pakistan under the Zia dictatorship against India. He says that America has lost many friends it had in India, and that even Pakistan now considers the US “an unreliable ally.” Nath shares the news of some family members’ passing and provides updates on the studies of his daughters; he adds that he has no plans to retire despite his age.
