DESCRIPTION
Copy of a speech given by Gobind Behari Lal in honor of Godha Ram Channon at the Ceylon India Inn on November 24, 1951. Lal discusses Channon’s involvement in the Ghadar Party and his informal role in the Pacific Coast Indian-American community as a diplomat, helping to organize and oversee visits from Indian politicians to the U.S.
