DESCRIPTION
The Fall/Winter 2000 issue of SAMAR (No. 12), entitled "Eat This!" included articles loosely based around the theme of food. Essays highlight South Asian Restaurant Workers in New York, Fishworkers in India, agricultural workers in Bangladesh and Nepal, and debates around what constitutes "Indian Food." Along with a number of essays, the issue includes an interview of Satinath Sarangi, an activist involved in Bhopal, by Arvind Rajagopal.
