Submitted to Bhai Boota Singh Ji:

Dear Father, my greetings to you. I am hale and hearty in all respects, and I always pray to Guru Gobind Singh Ji for your well-being. I have not received any letter from you during the last 3-4 months. I do not know why. I hope all is well with you! Kindly send your replies promptly. I wait for your letter daily, and get worried if it is delayed. Hopefully in future you will be kind enough (to reply immediately).

Four months have elapsed since I sent some cloth for Bibi Lachhman Kaur. As yet, I do not know if you received it. Further, on June 26, I sent to you a check of Rupees 1250 (one thousand two hundred fifty). On receipt, please inform immediately. And I shall send one more on hearing from you.

I hope brothers, Jagat Singh and Rulia Singh, and Bibi Lachhman Kaur are in good health, and trust that they are attending to you with much affection and enthusiasm. Please extend my hearty love to them.

My dear Dad, Can you get yourself photographed and send me your sacred photo? Please wear nice clothes and go to Amritsar to get yourself photographed. It will be very kind of you if you do so. I am always very anxious to see you. Please reply soon. I request. Greetings to all.

Your son,
Bhagat Singh
