Dr Alamjit D. Singh
7418 No Damen Ave.,
Chicago, Ill.

My dear Dr. Singh Ji:
A few days ago I forwarded you a copy of the letter sent our Compatriots all over the Country asking if they could serve on a Programme Committee to plan for the Celebration of INDIA'S Independence DAY, Jan 26 1951, at the Gadar Party Headquarters, 5 Wood Street, San Francisco. Did you receive it?

Enclosed as well was a copy of the Constitution which I have prepared for the New Organization per understanding with and requested by many friends like yourself.

I hope you had the opportunity of perusing it and even might have sent your comments which, so far I have not received.

Will you be good enough to share this document with Mr Kichelew and also with Dr. Ghose and let me have your response to it, with modifications or suggestions if any?

The University of California, in co-operation with the Student Body is inviting a public Representative of the United States and one of Russia to state their views at a public meeting Oct 31st. They have asked our San Francisco Consul General to present INDIA'S view-point at the same meeting. But as both these gentlemen are civilians, Mr Ahuja, that as a Government Official he should not speak and phoned me this morning to represent India in his stead.

Therefore I will leave for San Francisco Sunday and would appreciate hearing from you while there. You can address me care of the Consulate General of INDIA, 25 Beale Street, for as the Meeting for the Programme Committee will be held there, Wednesday November 1st, at 1 P.M. I would then be able to read your letter voicing your expressions at that meeting.

Please convey my respects to Mrs Singh and say "Hello" to Junior for me.

With best wishes,

Sincerely yours,

---
